I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Michigan. I was previously a post-doc in the Department of Labor Studies and Employment Relations at Rutgers University. I received my PhD in Sociology from UC Berkeley in 2017.
I am a comparative historical sociologist with a focus on the history and politics of the workplace. I am currently at work on a book project examining how moral conceptions of caring shaped collective bargaining patterns in hospitals in the 20th century. You can read more about my research here.
